Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a great day! At the beginning of this month, I saw a post over at Diana Wallace Peach’s . And she has a great way by which people can express their creativity.  She gives her readers an image every month and they can write a story or poem on it and link her and she will repost it on her blog. (I really hope I explained it right!) This month’s image was really appealing to me so I decided to do a post as well!

Here’s the image:

Her Dream

People say she can’t do it. She should just give up now. There’s nothing anyone can do about it. he believed them too for a while. After all, how could she continue her dancing career with a transplanted hip? But no matter what she did, her mind was stuck on the same thought. “Why can’t I?”. Tonight her parents called her downstairs to talk about “what path she had to take?”. They didn’t even consider dancing. She couldn’t take it anymore. It was like all her welled up emotions burst inside of her. And she rushed out of the house and into the street. All was quiet and deserted. She kept on running. It seemed like hours. But finally, she slowed down and started walking. She felt oddly calm and relieved now. It was like the moon has injected new energy in her. She didn’t care what they said anymore. She would dance and prove them wrong.

Thank you so much for reading! Have an awesome day!

  1. Hi Jess, I just noticed that my original comment thanking you for taking up the prompt didn’t post. So I’m catching up and thanking you now for your lovely story. I just reblogged. Happy Writing, my friend. ❤
