Birthday Book Tag – 17th birthday!

Birthday Book Tag – 17th birthday!

I am back! After months of absence, I am back. And yesterday, the 7th of May 2021, was my 17th birthday. It’s become a sort of tradition for me to do this Book Tag, so I decided this would make a splendid “I’m back” post! I didn’t want to make a whole post about what’s been going on and how I’ll be regularly posting now. Things have been weird the past couple of months, juggling school and finals and life in the pandemic. The point is I’m back, and I’ll be posting consistently. Let’s start the questions for this tag!

Count your birth date along your bookshelf and then subtract your birth month. What book does it land on?

Turtles All The Way Down by John Green. This is one of my all-time favorites! Also, whilst counting I noticed I’ve dropped a couple of books behind the shelf. I promise I’ll pick them up after writing!

Which character would you like to spend your birthday with?

I would spend it with Jude from The Cruel Prince. I am currently reading it, and I feel she would be a good person to show me around the Faerie land. (I feel like a lot of the answers in book tags are heavily influenced by my current read.)

Find a book that takes place in the season you were born in.

The Great Gatsby. The summer of 1922.

Find a book that is the colour of your birthstone.

Birthstone = emerald = green

One of the first book series I fell in love with. Percy Jackson and The Lightening Thief.

Is there a series with the same numbers of books as your age? If so what is it?

A book series with 17 books? I haven’t got a clue.

Pick a book set in a time period, a world or country you would like to have been born in.

The Lunar Chronicles. I cannot express how much I love this series.

So, that’s the end of the Birthday Book Tag. Just a quick update on how I plan to post now. I’m going to be posting on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. And I am really exicted to be back on here, I really missed it. Now, I’m off to catch up on the possibly thousands of posts I missed during my ‘hiatus’. (I’m also going to pick up those books, don’t worry!)

Until next time.

Birthday Book Tag! πŸŽ‰πŸ’•

Hi everyone! Hope you’re doing well. Today is my 16th birthday! πŸŽˆπŸŽ‰πŸ’•

The Birthday Book Tag has become somewhat of a tradition, so here we go!

Count your birth date along your bookshelf and then subtract your birth month. What book does it land on?

Peter Pan by J.M.Barrie!!! How ironic is that?!?

If you could spend your birthday with any fictional character who would it be and why?

Newt from The Maze Runner. I am currently re-reading TMR and he is my favorite character!

Find a book that takes place in the season you were born in.

I can’t think of any. Most books I read seem to take place over many seasons, instead of just one. I can think of many winter ones, but not one summer book. Let me know in the comments if you can think of one.

Find a book that is the colour of your birthstone.

My birthstone is emerald. And as I said, I am re-reading The Maze Runner.

So…downloadIt’s kind of green…

Is there a series with the same numbers of books as your age? If so what is it?

I don’t know of any. There might be.

Pick a book set in a time period, a world or country you would like to have been born in.

Harry Potter. ( Like I was going to choose anything else…)

So, that’s all! Have a great day! I plan to read all day and make the most of a quarantine birthday!

Until Next Time...3

Birthday Book Tag

Hi! I hope you’re having a great day and week! Guess what!? Today is my birthday! I am officially 15 years old! Gosh, I feel old! (I really don’t but isn’t that what people say!?) So, anyways, I wanted you guys to know that today was my birthday but didn’t know how to say it without being a snob! I didn’t want to go like, “Hey! Today is my birthday! Wish me!” (Although I would love it if you did…hehe!) Sofii @ A Book A Thoughtcame to my rescue! I saw this tag on her blog and it seemed like a fun way to say that today’s my birthday! Okay, that’s a lot of intros! Let’s get on with the actual post!

What a beautiful book to land on! I love The Little Prince!

He’s a demigod for freaking’s sake! Like I’m gonna pass that up! He could take me to Camp Half-Blood! Dream come true!

Find A Book That Takes Place In The Season You Were Born In

I love this book so much! I am not sure whether it does take place in summer or not. So don’t kill me in the comments!

Pick a Book Set in a Time Period, World or Country You’d Like to Have Been Born In.

The UK. All my life I have loved the UK and everything about it!

And of course, I would love to have been born in the Wizarding World!

Find A Book That Is The Color of Your Birthstone.

My birthstone is turquoise and this is one of the prettiest covers I know in that color! One of my friends in my new class recommended this book to me and my god! I fell in love with it! So much that I finished the first two books in the series in three days! I am very grateful to her for recommending this!

Is there a series with the same number of books as your age? If so what is it?

Wow! I have no idea of a book series having 15 books! If you do then do let me know in the comments! I’d love to read it!

My biggest complaint with books is that they don’t have enough books! 15 reaches close to my target!

Thank you for reading! Hope you have a great day and a great week ahead! β™₯

Happy Birthday Percy Jackson!!πŸ˜ƒπŸŒŠ

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a good day! I am back after a very very very long time!! But, this post isn’t for anything else but to wish Percy a Happy Birthday! Firstly, his birthday is not today…it was on 18th of August!

So, to make up I am doing this post!

Oh! I wish I could go!!!

I love the Percy Jackson series and even though I have tried to find out whether I like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson more….I can’t decide!!! And I won’t! They are both equal in my mind!

Thank you for reading! I hope you have a great day!

Have you read PJO? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Birthday Harry Potter!

Happy Birthday Harry Potter!

Hello Witches and Wizards! I hope you all are having a good day! I am! Today is Harry’s Birthday!!! I am so very excited! For the past 20 days I have been updating my status, like “10 days left!!!”

So, to celebrate I have decided I will dedicate a post to Harry’s Birthday!

Fun Facts about the Harry Potter Series!

  1. Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy used to sneak food on set, so they had to sewn shut!
  2. Michael Gambon who played Albus Dumbledore used to sneak cigarettes on set! Ha, seems like the cast was like family!
  3. James and Oliver Phelps who played Fred and George Weasley respectively, bunked school to audition for their role! And when they arrived at the place where the audition was taking place they realised that they were the only twins not wearing matching shirts, so they went to nearest show and bought matching shirts!
  4. Daniel Radcliffe broke about 100 wands, 260 pairs of glasses throughout the Harry Potter Series! The scar was applied to his forehead about 2000 times!
  5. Chris Columbus, the director for the first two movies, used real food for the feast scene in Philosopher’s Stone because he wanted everything to be real. The food began to rot and the room was full of the smell of rotten food! From then the food was frozen or of clay! Only the food which was eaten by the people in the scene was real!
  6. Harry Melling who played Dudley Dursley had to wear a fat suit from the third movie onwards because he had lost a lot of weight!
  7. Rupert Grint who played Ron, suffered from arachnophobia, which is that he is scared of spiders in real life!
  8. For the third movie, the golden trio was told to write an essay on their characters. Daniel Radcliffe(Harry) wrote a page, Emma Watson(Hermione) wrote 16(yes 16!!) pages and Rupert Grint(Ron) didn’t write it at all! Perfect cast!

The following are some pictures I found related to Harry’s Birthday.

The Harry Potter books have been an important part of my life and I am really happy that I chose to read it(Earlier I used to hate Harry Potter…). Even when I am grown up HP will be an important part of my life.

Have you read Harry Potter? If yes, did you know about this day?(it’s okay if you didn’t!) Let me know in the comments.

Thank you for reading. Have a good day!
